This authorization may be done by a simple vote of the council and does not necessarily require a resolution. If funded, the dollars will be utilized to help Samaritan House create 14 units of transitional housing on the second floor of the new concourse building they plan to construct as well as cover'/Z the acquisition costs of the eight units directly across the street to the east. Transitional housing is the next step for the homeless after immediate shelter care.
