9. Resolution 4361 - FEMA Designation of Applicant's RequestAgenda -August 18, 1997 AGENDA ITEM 9 - RESOLUTION 4361-DESIGNATION OF APPLICANT'S AGENT BACKGROUND/CONSIDERATION: In our continuing work with FEMA and our attempts to recover some of our unexpected costs related to flood response preparation and/or actual damages, we have "survived" the first wave of paperwork. However, to continue the process, you as a Council need to designate your agents) for signing future applications and assurances. RECOMMENDATION: We have compiled Resolution 4361 to comply with FEMA regulations. This resolution will designate Clarence Krepps or Jim Hansz as our official for these projects. Jim has been working directly with the officials and will be most familiar with the issues. In case of my absence, he will be able to continue the process on their deadlines. I recommend approval of Resolution 4361. ACTION REQUIRED: To continue to apply for a reimbursement from FEMA, Resolution 4361 must be approved.
