RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0.269
BE IT hESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Kalispell to create a special improvement district,
hereby designated as Special Impnvement district, hereby desig-
nated as Special Improvement District No. 269, and said Improvement
District shall be for an unplatted area between 2nd and 3rd Avenues
West North and between 'JVashington and California Streets West..
Commencing at a point which is the South property line of Washington
Street 'Nest at the centerline of the alley of Block 8, Kalispell
Original Townsite and extending North on the centerline of said
alley a distance of approximately 695 feet.
Section 2, That the general character of the improvements to be
made in Paid proposed special improvement district is the installa-
tion of a sanitary sewer with necessary appurtenances.
Section 3. That the approximate cost of said improvement is $1700.
Section 4. That the entire cost and expense of such improvements
shall be assessed against each lot within the district to be
assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears to
the area of the entire district.
Section 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in1full upon con,
pletion of the contract or shall be paid in three equal annual
installments hereby extended over a period of -three years. Said
assessments shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Intprove-
ment District Fund No. 269.
Section 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special
Improvement District warrants issued against said district in sums
not to exceed $100.00 each bearing interest at 4% per nnnum from
date of registration until called for redemption or paid in full.
Section 7. That on the 23rd day of September 1946 at the Council
Chambers of the City hall of the City of Kalispell, hlontana, at
7:30 o'clock p.m., a special meeting of the City Council will hear
and pass upon all protests that may be made against the making, of
such improvements or the creation of such districts.
Section 8. 'I"he City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
give th.e proper notice of the passage of the resolution by publi-
cation and mailing as required by law. Such publication to be
made in the Knlispell, Times, a weekly newspaper, published in
the City of Kalispell, Montana.
