RESOLUTION OF 11NTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPEoVEYENT DISTTICT
No. 266.
BE IT �,.RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KPLISPELL,
MONTANA:
Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the
CityofKalispell to create a special improvement district,
hereby d�signated as Special Improvement District No. 2661
and said Improvement District shall be for combined Blocks
163 and No. 4. Western Addition, and 156 and 1 Western
Addition, commencing at a point which is the center line of
the alley between 8th and 9th Avenues West at the North
property line of Lot 61 Block 163 extending North on the
center line of said alley a distance of Approximately 716
feet, more or less to a point ;hich is the South property
line of Railroad Hreet "est.
jSection 2. That the general character of the improvements to
be made in said proposed special improvement district is the
installation of sanitary sewer with necessary appurtenances.
Section 1. That the approsin ate cost of said improvements is
T-1757-, =0in approximate cost of $80.00.
PAction 4. That the entire cost :�7,nd expense of such improvements
shall be assessed against each lot within such. district to be
assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears
to the area of the entire district.
�q� �. That said assessment shall be paid for in.three
equal annual inst,allments hereby extended over a period of
three years. Said assessment shall constitute a fund to be
known as Special Imrpovement District Fund No. 266.
-'ectioij_6._ That said improvements shall be paid for in Special
Improvement District warrants issued against said district in
the sum of 4100.00 ei-h, bearing interest at 4 per cent per annum
from the date of registration. until called for redemption or
paid in full.
1Section That on the 21st day of August, 1946 at. the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City or Kalispell, 2,14ontana,
&t 7:30 o'clock P.M., and adjourned meeting, the City Council -will
hear nnd pass upon all protests that may be made agninst the
making of such Improvements or the creation of such district.
The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by
publication and mailing as required by law, such publication
to be made in the Kalispell Times, a weekly newspaper published
in, the City of Kalispell, Montana.
