RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH".' CITY OF KALISPFLL,
MONTANA:
Section I.That it is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Kalispell to create a special improvement district,
here!:-,y designated as Special Improvement District No 262, and
said Improvement District shall be for Block 153, Addition No.
1. Kalispell Tow site, commencing at a point which is the center
line of Montana Street West at the intersection of the alley
between Fifth and Sixth Avenues West, a concrete manhole, ex-
tending So,,ith on the center line of the alley of Block 153 to
a point which is the North property line of Lots 6 and 7, a
distance of approximately 28`1 feet, more or less.
Section 2LThat the general character of o the improvements to be
made in said proposed special improvement district is the in-
stallation of a sanitary sewer with necessary appurtenances4
Section 1. That the approximate cost of said improvements is
a,720.-0-01---an np-roximate cost of $60.00 per lot.
Section 41* - That the entire cost and expense of such improvements
shall be assessed against each lot within such district to be
assessed for th,�t part of the whole cost which its area bears to
the area of the entire district. ,
Section 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in three
eq,.,�al annuhl, installments hereby extended over a ,eriod of
three years. Said assessment shall constitute a fiind to be known
as Special Improvement District Fund No. 262.
Section 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special
Improvement District warrants issued against said district in the
slim of $100.00 oach, bearing interest at 4 per cent per annum from
the date of registrtion until called for redemption or paid in.

jSection That on the, 21st day of August 19465 at the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of August,
Montana, at
7:30 o'clock P.M. an adjot.irned meeting, the City Council will hear
and pass upon all protests that may be made against the making
of such improvements or the creation of such district.
Section 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by
publication and mailing as required by law, such publication to
1-e made in the Kalispell Times, a weekly newspaper published
in'the City of Kalispell, Montana.
