Resolution 2027 - Resolution of Intent - SID 261• RESOLUTION NO. 2027 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CPEATE SPECIAL IlLPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 261 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO'7NCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA: Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvement district, hereby designated as Special Improvement District No. 261, and Improvement District shall be for combined Block 0. and B and 10 and C and Block 2 D,ircan Addition, commencing at a point which is the center line of Washington Street at the intersections of the -11,eys between 6th and 7tb Avenues East at the alleys between 6th"and 7th Avenues East North, a concrete manhole, and extending East on the center line of Washington Street, a distance of 366 feeti more or less to a point which is the intersection of the alley between �th and Pth Avenues East North, and extending North on the center line of the alleys of Block 9 and B and Block 2 Duncan Addition, to a point which is the south property line of Lots 1 and. 12, Block 2, Duncan Addition, a distance of approximately 650 feet, more or less, also extending Solith on said alley on the center line of the alley of Block 10 and C, Duncan Addition, to a point approx- imately 285 feet Solzth of the center line of Washington Street. Section 2. That the general character of the improvements to be made in said proposed special improvement district is the installation of a sanitary sewer with necessary appurtenances. Section 3. That the approximate cost of said improvements is $7-00.70, an approximate cost of $80.CO per lot. Section 4. That the entire cost and expense of s,,:ch improvements shall be assessed against each lot within such district to be assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district. Section 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in three equal annual Installments hereby extended over a period of three years. Said assessment shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement District Fund No. 261. Section.16, That said improvements shall be paid for in Special Improvement District Warrants issued against said district, bearing interest at 4 per cent per annum from the day of reg- istration until called for redemption of paid in full. Section 7. That on the 5th day of August 1946 at the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, Montana, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., a regular meeting, the City Council will hear and pass upon protests that may be made against the making of such improvements or the creation of such district. Section 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publi- cation and mailing as req�,iired by law, such p�iblication to be made in the Kalispell.
