Resolution 1988 - Resolution of Intent - SID 249RESOLUTION NO. 1288_ RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CEEATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 249 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TBE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA: SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvement district, hereby designated. as Special Improvement "istrict No. 249, and said Improvement District shall be for Block 151, Kalispell Original Townsite, commencing at a point which is the center line of West Montana Street at the intersection of the alley between 6th and 7th Avenues West North, a concrete manhole, extending North on the center line of the alley of Block 151 to a point which is the South property line of Lots 1 and 12, a.distance of approximately 285 feet, more or less. SECTION 2. That the general character of the improvements to be made in s,id proposed special improvement district is the installation of a sanitary sewer with necessary appurtenances. SECTION �. That the approximate cost of said improvements is 7.0.00, an approximate cost of $60.00 per lot. SECTION 4. That the entire cost and expense of such improvements shall be assessed against each lot within such district to be assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district. SECTION 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in three equal annual installments hereby extended over a period of three years. Said assessment shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement District Fund No. 249. SECTION 66. That said improvements shall be peid for in Special Improvement District Warrants issued against said district in the sum of $200.00 each, bearing interest at 4 per cent per annum from the date of registration until called for redemption or paid in full. SECTION 7. That on the 6th day of May, 1946, at the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, Montana, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., a regular meeting, the Ctty Council will hear and pass upon all protests that may be made against the making of such improvements or the creation of such district. SECTION_8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution bypublication and mailing as required by law, such publication to be made in the Kalispell.
