Resolution 2012 - Resolution of Intent - SID 257RESOLUTION NO. 2012 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVMIENT DISTRICT NO. 257. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELLI MONTANA: SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Kali spell to create a special improvement district, hereby designated as Special Improvement District No. 257, and said Improvement District shall be for Block 246, Addition No. 7, Kalispell Townsite commencing at a point which is the center line of 13th Street East at the inter- section of the alley between 6th and 7th Avenues East. a concrete manhole, extending North on the center line of the alley of Block 24.6 to a point which is the South pro erty line of Lots I and 12, a distance of approximately 295 feetl more or less. SECTION 2. That the general character of the improve- ments to be made irk said proposed special improvement dJstriet is the installation of a sanitary sewer with necessary appur- tenances. SECTION 3. That the approximate cost of said improvements is $720.00, an approximate cost of $60.00 per lot. SECTION 4. That the entire cost and expense of such improve-ments shall be assessed against each lot within such district to be assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district. SECTION 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in three equal annual installments hereby extended over a period ce three years. Said assessment shall constitute a fund to be known as Special. Improvement District Fund No. 257. SECTION 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special Improvement District warrants issued against said district in the, s= of $200.00 each, 'bearing interest at 4 per cent per annum from the date of registration until called for redemption or paid in full.. SECTION 7. That on the Ist day of July 1946, at the Council Chambers in -the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, Montana, at 7:30 otclock P. M., a regular meeting, the City Council will hear and pass upon all. protests that may be made against the making of such improvements or the creation of such district. SECTION 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication and mailing as required by law, such publication to be made -in the Kalispell Times, a weekly newsppper published in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
