Resolution 2000 - Resolution of Intent - SID 256RESOLUTION NO. 2000 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT No. L26 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA: SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Kalispell to create a special. improvement district, hereby designated as Special Improvement District No. 2 % , and said Improve- ment District shall be for combined Block 9 and B and 10 and C and Block 2, Duncan Addition, commencing at a point which is the center line of the alley of Block 10 and C. Duncan Addition with the Inter- section of the North boundary line of Idaho Street, a . concrete manhole, extending North on the center line of said alley and extended on the center line of the alleys of Block 9 and B. and Block 2, Duncan Addition, to a point which Is the cotith property line of Lots 1 and 12, Block 2, Duncan Addition, a distance of approximately 1000 feet, more or less. SECTION 2. That the general character of the improvements to be made in said proposed special improvement district is the install- ation of a sanitary sewer with necessary appurtenances. SECTION 3. That the approximate cost of said improvements is $2200.00, an approximate cost of $70.00 per lot. SECTION 4. That the entire cost and expense of such improve- ments shall be assessed against each lot within such district to be assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district. SECTION 5. That said assessment shall be paid for In three equal annual Installments hereby extended over a period of three years. Said assessment shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement District Fund No. 256. SECTION 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in'Special Improvement District Warrants issued against said district in the sum of $200.00 each, bearing interest at 4 per cent per annum from the day of registration until called redemption or paid In full. SECTION 7. That on the 3rd day of June 1946, at the Council Chambers in the City Eall of the City of Kalispell, 10ontana, at 7:30 o°clock P. M., a regular meeting, the City Council will hear and pass upon all protests that may be made against the making of such improvements or the creation of such district. SECTION S. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publica- tion and mailing as required by law, such publication to be made in the Kalispell Times, a weekly newspaper published In the City of Kalispell, Montana.
