RESOLUTION NO. 1902
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE
SPECIAL ITYMROVEMM DIS`T'RICT
NO. 244
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YALISPELL, MONTAN
MOTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of
Kalispell to create a special improvement district, hereby designated as Special
Improvement District No. 244, and the boundaries of said proposed special improve-
ment district are hereby declared to be as follows: Commencing at a point which
is the center line of ninth street between sixth and seventh avenue west and extend-
ing south a distance of 283 feet in the alley of Block 11, Fisher addition, to a
point which is the north property line of Lots 6 & 7 of Block 11, risher .addition,
Kalispell Townsite.
SECTION 2. That the general character of the improvements to be made in
said proposed special improvement district is the installation of an eight -inch
sanitary sewer with necessary appurtenances.
SECTION 3. That the approximate cost of said improvements is $600.00.
SECTION 4. That the entire cost and expense of such improvements shall be
assessed against each lot within such district to be assessed for that part of the
whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district.
SECTION 5. That raid assessment shall be paid for in three equal annual
installments hereby extended over a period of three years. Said assessment shall
constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement District Fund No. 244.
SECTION 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special Improvement
District Warrants issued against said district in the sum of $100.00 each, bear-
ing interest at 4 per cent per annum from the date of registration until called
forredemption or paid in full.
SECTION 7. That on the 2nd day of August, 1943, at the Council Chambers
in the City Ball of the City of Kalispell, Montana, at 7 3b P. Y., a regular
meeting, the City Council will hear and pass upon all protests that may be
made against the making of such improvements or the creation of such district.
SECTION 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the
proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication and mailingas
required by law, such publication to be made in the Kalispell 'Times, a weekly
newspaper published in the City of Kalispell.
