BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMOTL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA
SECTION I. That it is the intention of the City Countil of the City
of Kalispell to create a special improvement district, hereby designated
as Special Improvement District No. 245, and the boundaries of said
proposed special improvement district are hereby declared to be as
follows., Commencing at a point which is the center line of llth street
between 3rd and 4th Ave. W. and extending south a distance of 283
Peet in the alley of combined Blocks 246 and Block 17, Fisher add, to
a point which is the north property line of Lot 6 Block 246 and Lot 6,
Block 17 Fisher Addition, Kalispell Townsite.
SECTION 2. That the general character of the improvements to be
made in said proposed special improvement district is the installation
of an eight inch sanitary sewer with necessary appurtenances.
SECTION 3. That the approximate cost of said improvement is $500.00.
SECTION 4. That the entire cost and expense of such improvements
shall be assessed against each lot within such district to be assessed
for that part.of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the
entire district.
SECTION 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in three equal
annual installments hereby extended over a period of three years. Said
assessment shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement
District Fund No. 244.
SECTION 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special
Improvement District warrants issued against said district in the sum
of $100.00 each, bearing interest at 4 per cent per annum from the date
of registration until called for redemption or paid in full.
TION 7. That on the 6th day of September, 1943, at the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, Montana, at 7:30
o'clock P.M., a regular meeting, the City Council will hear and pass upon
all protests that may be made against the making of such improvements
or the creation of such district.
SECTION S. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication
and mailing as required by law, such publication to be made in the
Kalispell Times, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Kalispell.
