6e. Approval of the South Woodland/Greenacres Neighborhood Plan BoundariesAgenda Item # 6 E b Flathead Regional Development Office 723 5th Avenue East - Room 414 Kalispell, Montana 59901 Phone: (406) 758-5780 Fax: (406) 758-5781 May 23, 1996 Al Thelen, Interim City Manager City of Kalispell P.O. Drawer 1997 Kalispell, MT 59903 Re: South Woodland / Greenacres Neighborhood Plan Dear Al: The Kalispell City -County Planning Board and Zoning Commission, at their regularly scheduled meeting of May 14, 1996, discussed the neighborhood plan boundaries for the South Woodland / Greenacres area. Narda Wilson of the Flathead Regional Development Office gave an overview of an ambitious, tentative time frame and outline for the neighborhood plan and asked for direction in establishing appropriate boundaries for the neighborhood. The Board discussed the establishment of the boundaries for that area and directed staff to exclude the extension of the R-3 zone on the east side of Willow Glen. Willow Glen Drive seems the logical boundary, and divides the different characters of the ad jecent neighborhoods. This recommendation is forwarded to City Council for the May 28, 1996 work session for approval. No formal Council action is required for this item. Please contact this Commission or Narda Wilson at the Flathead Regional Development Office if you have any questions. Respectfully submitted, KALISPELL CITY -COUNTY PLANNING BOARD AND ZONING COMMISSION Therese Fox Hash President TFH/NW/eo Attachments: Memo dated May 6, 1996 from Narda Wilson to Planning Board Minutes from the 5/14/96 Planning Board meeting H:\...TRANSM1T\1996\S0WO0D.NP Providing Community Planning Assistance To: * Flathead County * City of Columbia Falls * City of Kalispell * City of Whitefish Flathead Regional Development Office Room 414 Montana 59901 Phone: (406) 758-5980 Fax: (406) 758-5781 Memorandum To: Kalispell City -County Planning Board and Zoning Commission From: Narda Wilson, Planner H Date: May 6, 1996 Re: South Woodland / Greenacres Neighborhood Plan A neighborhood plan for the South Woodland / Greenacres area is in the FRDO work program.
