The Committee includes Trustees Carol McGuire, Jack Fallon, Pete Nelson, Janette Braaten as well as Superintendent Bill Cooper and myself. The Committee would like to meet with representatives from the City Council and County Commissioners Office as well as yourself, Larry Gallagher, Earl Bennett, and Monty Long to discuss the following items: 1. Financial Impact of the Tax Increment District 2. Purpose and benefits of the Tax Increment District 3. Longevity of Tax Increment District 4. Future of Tax Increment District An evening meeting would be preferable at a site that will handle approximately 12 to 15 people depending upon how many representatives each entity will send. A moderator probably would be appropriate so as to keep the meeting on target as well as on time. The Board of Trustees has their regular meeting on Tuesday, June 4, 1996 and, as such, that evening will not be available to meet. Please contact me at your earliest convenience concerning an appropriate time and location, as the Committee would like to discuss this topic before final budgets are adopted for the 1996-97 fiscal year. Thank you for your consideration! Sincerely, xaeo A14&;;) Todd Watkins Director of Business Services Kalispell School District No. 5 dc: Margie Simpson, Chair (Kalispell School District No. 5) Sharon Stratton, Chair (County Commissioners) Larry Gallagher Monty Long Doug Rauthe, Mayor (City of Kalispell) Bill Cooper Earl Bennett Finance Committee
