Please consider this a request for change order as a
result of the Pre -construction meeting recently held at
Woodland Park. In attendance were the contractor, NuPac,
consultant, Jeff Larson, and myself.
Due to the excessive amount of moisture received this
year, I feel it is necessary to submit a change order to
protect our construction investment by addressing the
springs creating saturation problems on the Woodland Pond.

Change the original project to include 405 linear feet
of engineering fabric typical section. In addition
the work will include installing 405 linear feet of
french drain trench with relief pipes every 25 feet on
center. The work will also include topsoiling and
sodding to prepare the typical section as shown on the
typical section included.
I met with the Montana Department of Transportation
C.T.E.P. representative to confirm the work order and
prices. He has assured me this price either meets or are
below standard bid amounts for similar work. The City will
be responsible for $1,145.45. The CETP matching fund will
be $7,409.17. The project total still falls well within
the engineer's estimates of $55,484.00.
