In the FY96 Budget there is a line item in the TAX INCREMENT SECTION for
Traffic Signal undesignated. This line item is for $100,000. I am asking the Council
to authorize my Department to go out for design on two signals located at 1 st Avenue
East @ Center Street and 1st Avenue East @ 3rd Street East and/or any other
location the Council recommends.
After we get the design and specifications we can determine if there are sufficient
funds left to construct the above mentioned signals this summer.
