RE30LTTTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL I1-TR0VM.1'TNT LIGHTING
DISTRICT WTM9vR FORTY-TTIREE.
BE IT RESOIVTPD BY THE CITY COUNCIL Or' T7171, CITY OF KALISPELL:
Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City
of Kalispell to create a special improvement lighting district hereb-
designated as Special Improvement Lighting District No.43, for the
purpose oflighting the intersection of seventh Avenue West North
and Idaho 3treet West, to wit,- From a point opposite the lot line
between Lots 9 and 10 of Block 148 and Lots 3 and 4 of Block 149,
Kalispell Addition No. 1 to a point opposite the lot line between
Lots 3 and 4 of Block 150 and Lots 9 and 10 of Block 151, Kalispell
Addition No. 1.
Section 2. That the boundaries of such proposed Special Improvement
Lighting District are as follows: Beginning at the center of Block
148, Kalispell Addition N�. 1, thence northerly paralleling the
east line of Seventh Avenue West North to the intersection with lot
line between Lots 9 and 10 of Block 148, thence westerly along said
line to the center of alley in Block 149, Kalispell Addition No.1,
thence southerly paralleling the west line of Seventh Avenue West
North to the intersection with lot line between Lots 3 and 4 of
Block 149, thence easterly to the point of beginning.
Section 3. That the general character of the improvements to be
made in said proposed special improvement lighting district is as
follows; to -wit,- The procuring the erecting of posts, wires, lamps
and other suitable and necessary appliances for the purpose of light-
ing those parts of the said street and avenue of the City of Kalis-
pell herein before described.
Section 4. That the ap rox1mate of the cost of the improvements to
be made is the sum of 10.06 and approximate estimate of the cost
of maintaining the light in the proposed district and supplying
electrical current therefor for the first year is the sum of $36.00
and three fourths of the cost shall be assessed against the property
embraced within the district aubtting Seventh Avenue West and Idaho
Street West.
Section 5. That on the 14th day of April, 1941, at the Council
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, at seven thirty
o'clock, P.M., at a special meeting, the City Council will hear and
pass upon all protests that may be made against the making of such
improvements or the creation of such district.
Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give
the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication
and mailing as required by law, such publication to be made in the
Kalispell Times, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Kalispell
Passed and approved this 3rd day of 14arch, 1941.
