RESOLOTIOU OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECTIU, DISTRTCT 70, 240

=1-'N 1. TLat it is the intention of the City Council of the City of 'Kalispell
to create a special improvement district, hereby disignated as Special Improvement
District No. 240, and the boundaries of said proposed special imirovement district
are hereby declared to be as follows: Comnei-,3ing at to point which is the nest
property line of Lot 11, Block 85 of Kalispell Original Townsite, thence east to the
east property line of Lot 13, Block 85, and from a point which is the west property
line of Lot 24, Block 96 of Ralispell Original Townsite, thence east to the east
property line of Lot 24, Block 96.
SECTIO, 2. That the general oLaracter of the improvements to be ifiade in said
proposed special im'�provement diet ict, is as follows: the removal of the present
eight foot concrete sidewalk and replacing of same with, all necessary appurtenances
together with new concrete walk at the intersection and the replacement of sixteen
feet of curb, Wxl"08".
SECTIO-7 3. Thkit the arproximate cost A said improvements is AV50.00.
3,ECTTChT 4. That the entire cost and expense of such iiprovements shall be
assessed against each lot within such district to be assessed for that part of the
whole cost which each area Aars to the area of the entire district.
SECTION 5. Thtit said assessment shall be paid for in tawo equal annual
installments hereby extended over a pariod of two years. Said assessment shall
constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement district 1To. 240.
5BOTION 6. That said imp.novements shall be paid for in Special Improvement
District Warrants issued against said district in the sash of tIO0.00 each, bearing
Interest at 4 per cent per annum, from the date of registration until called for
redemption or paid in full.
SECTION 7. That on the sixth day of July, 1942, at the Council Chambers in
the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, Nientana, at 7:30 o'clock F. M., a regular
meeting, the City Council will hear and pass upon all protests that may be node
against the making of such inlrovements or tLe creation of such district.
520TION1 8. The City (;ierk is hereby authorized and directed to give the,,,
proper notice of the pa3vrage of this resolution by publication and awning as
required by law, such publication to be made in the Kalispell Times, a weekly
newspaper published in the City of Kalispello
