Resolution 1687 - Property ExclusionRESOLUTION No. 1667 WHEREAS, the City Council of Kalispell, Montana, did at the regular monthly meeting of that body, held July 5th, 1939, through proper resolution, instruct the City Clerk to advertise for protest the pe- tition of property owners signed by three -fourths in value of the territory asked to be excluded from the corporate limits of th eCity of Kalispell, a description of the property sought to be excluded being as follows: - Commencing at a point where the center line of Seventh Street West intersects the western boundry line of the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell as now established and continuing from thence westerly along the center line of Seventh Street West to its inter- section with the center line of Tenth Avenue West as the place of beginning; from thence westerly along the center line of Seventh Street 'hest to the center line of Eleventh Avenue West; thence southerly along the center line of Eleventh Avenue West to the cen- ter line of Eighth Street Vest; thence easterly along the center line of Eighth Street West to the Center line of Tenth Avenue West; thence northerly along the center line of Tenth Avenue West to the place of beginning; said description includes all of the lots in Block Number Tour of the nigh School Addition to the Townsite of Kalispell, Montana, according to the plat of said Townsite and, addi- tions thereto on file in the office of the County Clerk and Recorder of Flathead County, Montana. AND WHEREAS the City Clerk has advised the City Council that the proper publication for protest has been published in the official paper for the City of Kalispell in the two successive issues of the Kalispell Times of July 13th and Tuly 20th, 1939, and that proper affidavit of publication of said notice has been furnished by the printer and there having been no written protests filed by property owners adjacent to the property petitioned for exclusion within twenty days of the first publication of said notice; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the property above described be ex- cluded from the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell and that the corporate limits of the City be changed by extending in a south- erly direction from the intersection of the center line of Seventh Street West and Tenth Avenue West to the center line of Eighth Street West, thence easterly along the present boundry line on Eighth Street Test. This being the only change in the present corporate limits of the City to be made through the granting of this petition and pa s,3age of this resolution.
