Resolution 1532 - Resolution of Intent - Lighting District 400 RESOLUTION NO. 1532, RESOLUTION Or TNTEWTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMP-110VETTEINT LIGHTU(11 DTSTRICT NUMBER FORTY. BE IT RESOLVED 9Y TRIE CITY COUNCIL OF ME CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA: Section 1. That it is the Intention of the City Council of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvement lightim7 district hereby de- signated as Special Improvement Lighting District No. 40, far the pur- pose of lighting First Avenue 'East North of the City of Kalispell as follows, 6'_wit�_-� From a point opposite the lot line between lots 6 and 7 of 3lock 25, and Lots 13 and 14 of 3lock 24, to the point opposite the lot line between Lots 3 and 4 of 3lock 227 and Lots 9 and 10 of 3lock 226. Section 2. That the boundaries of such proposed Special Improvement Lighting district are as follows- Beginning at the center of Block 25, thence northerly paralleling the west line of First Avenue East 1Vorth to an intersection with the lot line between Lots 3 and 4 extended -of Block 227, thence easterly along said line to the center of Block 226, thence southerly paralleling the east line of First Avenue East North to point of beginning. Section 3. That the general character of the improvements to be made in said proposed special improvement lighting district is as follows: to -wit; the procuring; ' and erecting of posts, wires, lamps and of heir suitable and necessary appliances for the purpose of light ing those parts of the avenues, streets and public hi:,-hways of the City of Kalispell herein - before described. Section 4. That the approximate of the cost of the improvements to be made is the sum of 45.45 and an approximate estimate of the cost of maintaining the lights in the proposed district and supplying electrical current therefor for the first year is the sum of $255.60, and three fourths of the cost shall be assessed against the property embraced within the district abutting such Avenue. Section 5. That on the 7th day of September, 1936, at the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, at seven thirty o'clock P.TA., a regular meeting, the City Council will hear and pass upon all protests that may be made against the making of such im- provements or the creation of such district. Section 6.- The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to Five the proper notice of the passage of this -resolution by publication and mailing as required by law, such publication to be made in the Kalispell Times, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Kalispell.
