Resolution 1628 - Resolution of Intent - Lighting District 41RESOLUTION No. 1628 RESO I JT IIII OF TNT77,NPION T CREATE SPECIAL IMPROV-77MMT LI(ETING 10 DISTRICT NT.71,MRR FORTY-ONF, BE IT RVSOLVRD 13Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL: Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvement lighting dis- trict hereby designated as Special Improvement Lighting District No. 41, for the purpose of lighting Seventh Avenue West, of the City of Kalispell as follows; to -wit: From a point opposite the lot line between Lots 3 and 4 of Block 179, and Lots c) and 10 of Ilock 176, to the point opposite the lot line between Lot 3 of Block 189 and Lot 4 of Block 7, High School Addition and Lots 9 and 10 of '31ock 198. Section 2. That the boundaries of such proposed Special Improve- ment Li,7htin-7 T)istrict are as follows: Beginning at the center of Block 179- thence southerly paralleling the west line of Seventh Avenue West to an intersection with the lot line between Lot 3 of 'Plock 189 and Lot 4 of Block 7, High School Addition, thence easterly along; said lire to the center of alley in Block 188, thence northerly paralleling the east line of Seventh Avenue West to the intersection with the lot line between Lots 9 and 10 of 3lock 178, thence westerly along said line to the point of beginning. Section 3. That the general character of the improvements to be made in said proposed special improvement lighting district is as follows; to -wit: The procuring and erecting of posts., wires, lamps and other suitable and necessary appliances for.the pur- pose of lighting those parts of the avenues, streets and public highways of the City of Kalispell hereinbefore described. Section 4. That the approximate of the cost of the improvements to be made is the sum of $5.00 and approximate estimate of the cost of maintaining ntaining the lights in the proposed district and sup- plying the electrical current therefor for the first year is the sum of $76.60 and three fourths of the cost shall be assessed against the property embraced within the district abutting such Avenue. Section 5. That on the 7th day of March, 1933, at the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Kal ispell, at seven thirty o'clock P.M., at a regular meetirg, the City Council will hear and pass upon all protests that may be made against the making of such improvements or the creation of such district. Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication and mailing as required by law, such publication to be made in the Kalispell Times, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Kalispell.
