RESOUTTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT LIGHTING
DISTRICT NUMB. Ft FORTY-ONE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIC' CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City
of Kalispell to create a special improvement lighting district
hereby designated as Special Improvement Lighting District No.41,
for the purpose of lighting Seventh Avenue West,of the City of
Kalispell as follows,to-wit: From a point opposite the lot line
between Lots 3 and 4 of Block 179, and Lots 9 and 10 of Block 178,
to the point opposite the lot line between Lots 3 and 4, of Block
10, High School Addition, and Lots 9 and 10 of Block 9, High School
Addition.
Section 2. That the boundaries of such proposed Special improvement
Lighting District are as follows: Beginning at the center of Block
179, thence southerly paralleling the west line of Seventh Avenue
West to an intersection with the lot line between Lots 3 and 4 extend-
ed of Block 10 of High School Addition, thence easterly along said
line to the center of alley between Block 9 of High School Addition
and Block 3 of Fisher Addition, thence 'northerly paralleling the east
line of Seventh Avenue West to the intersection with the lot line
between Lots 9 and 10 of Block 173, thence westerly along said line
to the point of beginning.
Section 3. That the general character of the improvements to be made
in said proposed special improvement lighting district is as follows,
to -wit: The procuring and erecting of posts, wires, lamps and other
suitable and necessary appliances for the purpose of lighting those
parts of the avenues, streets and public highways of the City of
Kalispell hereinbefore described.
Section 4. That the approximate of the cost of the improvements to
be -made is the sum of 1�3.00 'and an approximate estimate of the
cost of maintaining the lights in the proposed district and sup-
plying electrical current therefor for the first year is >the sum
of 1115.20 and three fourths of the cost shall be assessed against
the property embraced within the district abutting such Avenuei
Section 5. That on the 7th day of February, 1938, at the Council
Chambers in lseven
ethe Hall of the City of Kaispell, at sen thirty
o'clock P.M., a regular meeting, the City Council will hear and
pass upon all protests that may be made against the making of such
improvements or the creation of such district.
Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give
the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication
and mailing as required by law, such publication to be made in the
Kali,spel,1 Times, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Kalispell
