The intent of this work will be to complete the Woodland Park Connection as defined by the `Which Way Kalispell' efforts and begun as the First Street 5treetscape Project. 5pecial attention will be given to the following: • enhanced pedestrian and bicycle access, • safety of 5chool and other public pedestrian related activities, • traffic circulation, and • enhancement of park accessibility Project Components and fees are as follows: 1) Delineation of Three Conceptual Development Alternatives for the project: Development of three alternative concept plans for the First 5treet / Woodland Park Connection and presentation to Community Development, Parks Department and Public Works staff, KDC and other interested parties. Total Fee: $1600 3) Construction Documentation and Bidding Phase: Production of construction working drawings and specifications for the Woodland Park connection. This phase will also include coordinating bids and fielding bid questions during the bidding period. Total Fee: $2400 4) Construction Observation and Contractor Coordination Phase: This phase will include monitoring construction and coordinating construction matters with the selected contractor. The F scope of the plan will include expanding the theme of the Avenue of the Arts into portions of the abandoned Street right-of-way east of Central School. This will include intersecting the expanded Avenue of the Arts with the First Street 5treetscape and Woodland Park Connection. The intent of this work will be to complete the Avenue of the Arcs Project as defined by the `Which Way Kalispell' efforts and begun as the Second Avenue 5treetscape and Water Line Improvement Project.
