BY THE CURRENT BUDGET FOR PARK PURPOSES.
RE IT RESOLVED 9Y THE COUNCIL OF = CITY OF KALISI-ML, MONTANA'
WITMEAS, there has been expended by the City of Kalispell
and the Works Progress Administration of the United States several
thousand dollars for the beautification and general development of
Woodland Park, the construction of a swi!mminF , pool therein for the
benefit of the youth of the City of Kalispell, and providing a
playground and recreation spot for the people of the City of Kalis-
pell, and
IMIFREAS, it is necessary in order to fully complete the plans
outlined therefor to expend, additional money, and whereas the ex-
penditure of additional money by the City or Kalispell and the
Works Prowe
ss Administration of the United States will provide
labor for a large I ,,e number of the unemployed people of Kalispell and
imMediate vicinity; and whereas the completion thereof will be of
material benefit to the people of Kalispell for all future time;
and whereas, the amount provided by the current budget for park
expenditures is insufficient to meet the requirements necessary
to fully complete said project and there are no further or other
funds available therefore;

K)J1JiPFJ,L, that by reason of the facts as hereinbefore stated that
an eraergency is hereby declared to exist under the provisions of
Section 5083.8 of the Revised Codes of !1ontana, 1935, and the ex-
penditures in excess of the current budget of the City for park
purposes be exceeded in the sum of Three Thousand Five Tlundred
Dollars and that emergency warrants be drawn against the said Pail"
Fund for the purposes herein set forth; and that the City Treasur-
er As authorized and directed to pay such warrants with any money
in any fund available for that purpose and if there is not suffient
money available to pay such warrants then the same shall be regis-
tered, bear interest and called for payment in the same manner as
provided by law for other registered City warrants,
This being an emergency resolution as herein set forth and
it being necessary for the restoration to a condition of useful-
ness of -public property that the same shall take effect and be in
full force and effect ianediately upon its passage and approval.
The 4'orer,oink resolution unanimously adopted by a vote of
all members present of the City Council of the City of Kalispell
at a regular meeting, of the City Council held on the 7th day of
