A RESOLUTIOLI TRUZFRRRINTC C7RT411,' CASH FUNDS FROM OIL SPRIEKLIYO,
DISTRICT: FUNDS TO TH73, STRE717 FTMID.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell,
Montana on March 9, 1927 adopted the following report submitted
and signed by the Street and Alley and Finance Committees as
appears in the proceedings of the Council at page 679, Book b:
"We, your committee on Street and Alley and Finance to
whome has been referred the method of financing the pur-
chase of an oil sprinkler, beg leave to report that after
due consideration, we would respectfully recommend that
the general levy b�, raised two mills, that the oil sprink-
ling be done on the street sprinkling plan with the area
method of assessment and with the de-p'reciation for the machine
charge
d to various districts at a rate sufficient to de-
preciate It in five years, and in order to take care of the
present :,,,arrant indebtedness of the street fund that the
general, administrative and i,iiunicipal fund levy be raised to
the legal lif;iit of 15 mills,,
AND V,1HEREAS, the City Council did at the meeting award
the contract for the purchase of an oil sprinkler from Kinney
Manufacturing Company for the sum of $BIJ85.00 from competitive
bids advertized to be opened and was opened on February 7, 1927,
and
AS, Street warrants in payment of said oil sprinkler w
were issued and registered in the office of the City Treasurer
on April 30, 1927, and
A'HEREAS, the said warrants have been paid from the
said street fund of the City of Kalispell; and
VVEEREAS, anA assessment has been made annually against
the vatious oil sprinkling districts during the past five years
in an amount sufficient to reimburse the street fund for the
sum of 6000.00, leaving $�)65.00 to be transferred from assessment
made but not paid on account of delin,-?uent takes; now therefore
BE IT RESOLV-1), that there be transferred from the Oil
Sprinkling Fund to the Street Fund the 3uya of APROOO.00 and that a
further amount of �"985.00 be transferred when there is sufficient
money in the said Oil Sprinkling 7und.
