Our remaining Lawrence Park budget is approximately
$44,000.00 for Phase I. This phase of the project will
give us physical improvement to the flat area at Lawrence
Park. This portion of the project will complement the
efforts and donated improvements from the Friends of
Lawrence Park.
We are just beginning the first step of the
development of Lawrence Park. This form of systematic
planning and implementation of phased development along
with the efforts and contributions from the Friends of
Lawrence Park will ultimately result in a model
recreational complex with unlimited potential for
servicing the community.
I am enclosing comments and particulars from our
consultant, Bruce Lutz. If further discussion is
warranted on this, I will be available.

After dicussing the bid results for Phase One of Lawrence Park with Mike
Baker, it is our recommendation that the City Council approve the Base Bid and
Alternate 3 for construction. The base bid includes earthwork, finish grading,
topsolling and seeding of a 146,925 square foot area delineated on the attached
drawing. Altemate 3 includes irrigation of the base bid area..
We recommend that you award the project to Evergreen Landscaping for the
amount of $43,850.00 for both items. Please refer to the attached bid summary.
Thank you for your attention.
Sincerely,
Bruce F. Lutz A.S.L.A.
