At a previous workshop, staff introduced to you a residential
subdivision proposed by Tim Birk in the vicinity of Hathaway

Lane and Two Mile Drive. The site is adjacent to the

Greenbriar development and lies in the path of the proposed

highway bypass described in the adopted Kalispell Area

Transportation Plan.

Following a review of the conceptual plan, the Site Review
Committee prepared a letter to the developer which, among
other potential conditions, described the need to reserve a
110' easement for future right-of-way for the bypass.
Staff has decided that it would be more appropriate in this
case to simply inform the developer of the bypass alignment
and its potential impact on the subdivision, rather than seek
a reservation or dedication. As of this writing, an
application for subdivision has not been received by the FRDO.
