Deer Mr. Mayor, Mr. Williams and Members of the City Council:
As you may know, the 77th annual convention of the National Association of
Secretaries of State (NASS) is meeting in Kalispell from July 16th through the 21 at,
1994.
As part of the convention festivities, we have planned a family softball tournament
and barbecue to be held at the Maven Field Complex.
With this letter I am requesting special permission to allow the Outlaw Inn to serve
alcoholic beverages (beer and wine only) In the grandstand area of the Haven Field
Complex on the evening of July 19, 1294.
Attenders of the convention include Secretaries of State, their families, staff,
vendors and other guests.
The evening's activities begin at roughly 6:30 pm, and will conclude by 9:30 pm.
The fields have already been reserved for this purpose, and we will encl®se the area
with barricades and orange ribbon to ensure that the area is secured.
