Please request the City Council to authorize the advertisements for bid
on the improvements to the north end of Depot Park. Bruce Lutz has
developed the bid documents per the approved schematic site plan.
The site plan has been reviewed and approved by Tidyman's per the
purchase agreement. The plan has also been approved by Burlington
Northern Railroad, the Architectural Review Committee, the Site
Review Committee, the Kalispell Development Corporation, and the
City Council.
The scope of the project includes the park improvements of lawn and
landscaping, sidewalks, paved parking, storm drainage, water line
extension for irrigation, benches, and lighting.
With Lawrence Park out to bid at the same time, we hope to benefit
from an economy of scale on similar projects and save some money.
