BE IT RESOLVED BY TIJ, CITY COUNTTIL OIT 'I'lEM CITY OF KALISIM111, M0xTA1,TA:
Section I.- That it is the intention of the City Council of
K«lispell to create a special improvement district, hereby designated
as Special Improvement District No. 223, and the boundaries of said
proposed specizA improvement district are hereby declared to be as
follows: beginning at a point iC,,_Jch is the centerline of Wyoming Street
and its intersection with the centerline of first Avenue West North;
thence in a westerly direction along the centerline of Wyoming street
to its intersection with the centerline of Second Avenue 11,1est North;
thence in a southerly direction alenE,, the centerline of SecondAvenue
-Vle,5t North to the centerline of Vashiyiqton Street; thence in an easter-
ly direetisn Laon- the centerline -of lffazhington Street to the center-
line of First Avenue West North; the -nee in a northerly direction along
the centerline, of First Avenue West north to the Centerline. of
Wyoming Street which is the point of beginning.
Section 2. That the general character of the improveinents to be
made in said proposed Special Improvement District in as follows,
tw-wit: installation of an ei.1,ht inch sewer vdth mainholes, flueh-
tnaks, toes, Ilys" and other neceosary appurtenances in the alley from
Washington Street to Wyomii-ib, Strect throu,,,ht the alley between First
ALVer,jue ,N,4,est North and Second Avenue 'Vlest North.
Section 3. That the approximate cost of said improvements is
$2750.00
Section 4. That the entire cost and expense oi such improver w .its
including street and alley intersections, shall be assessed against
the entire district, each lot or parcel of land within such district
to be assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears
to tne area Of the entire district exclusive of str(.ets, alleys and
public places.
Section 5. That said assessment shall be 'paid for in eight equal
annual installments hereby extneded ever a period of eight years. Said
assessment shall consititute a fund to be known as Special Improvement
District Fund No. 223,
Section 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special
Improvement District Coupon Warrants issued against said district in
the sum of $100.00 each, bearin, interest at 6 per cent, per annum
from the date of registration until called for rede2ijption or paid in
full, interest payable annually on the first day of J:Muzary of each
year, payable ei„ht years from date and redeemable at any time there
funds to the credit of such improvement Di,qtr.ict fund available therefor;
the interest coulons attached to suth warrants to bear the fac,-simile
sib natures of the Mayor and Clerk.
Section 7. That on the 25th day of Augiist 1924, at the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, Montana, q,t 7:30

upon all protests that may be made @,gaixist the making of such improve-
ments or the creation of such district, provided said protests aj°e in
writing and are received by the City Clerk on or before fifteen days
