Resolution 0987 - Resolution of Intent - SID 212RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Xalispell to create a special improvement district, hereby designated. as Special Improvement District No. 212, and the boundaries of said proposed special improvement district are hereby declared to be as follows® Commencing at a. point which is the intersection of the center- line of Washington Street with the centerline of Fourth Avenue hest north thence in a southerly direction for a distance of 732 feet along the centerline of 4-th Avenue West North to its inter- section with the centerline of Montana Street; thence in a westerly direction for a distance of 366 feet along the center- line of Montana Street to its intersection with the centerline of Fifth Avenue West North; thence in a northerly direction for a distance of 732 feet Along the center line of Fifth Avenue West North, to its intersection with the centerline of Washing- ton Street, thence in an easterly direction for a distance of 366 feet along the centerline of Washington Street, to the place of beginning, said boundaries to include all of Blocks lO and 11 Original Townsite, City of Kalispell, Montana. Section 2. That the general character of the improvements to be made in said proposed Special Improvement District is as follows, to -wits is the installing of an eight (S) inch sewer in the alley of Blocks lO and 11 Original Townsite City of Kalispell Montana, starting from the present sewer in Montane Street thence running; North: through the alleys of said Blocks, said installation toinclude Lamp -holes, Man -holes, flush -tanks, and other necessary appurtenances. Section 3. That the approximate cost of said improvements 33KESHM Section 4. That the entire cost and expense of such improve - vents, including street and alley intersections, shall be assessed against the entire district, each lot or parcel of land within oβ€ž 'k Ai n+_A'+ +n 1'. β€”an e. nA fnr +'h. w-,v--+ n-p +"n vxr1-1 c β€”+ β€”'hi _'k its area bears to the area, of the entire district exclusive of streets, alleys and public places. Section 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in five equal annual installments hereby extended over a. period of five years. Said assessment shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement District Fund No. 212. Section 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special Improvement District Coupon Warrants issued against said district in the sum of $100.00 eaoh, 'bearing interest at 6 per cent. per annum from the date tf registration until called for redemption or paid in full, interest payable annually an the first day of January of each year, payable five years from date and redeemable at any time there are funds to the credit of such Improvement District Fund available therefor; the inter- est coupons attached to such warrants to bear the fac-simile signatures of the Mayor and Clerk. Section 7. That on the 2nd day of June 1924 at the Council Chambers in the City Tull of the City of Kalispell, Montana' at 7®30 o'clock P. M., a regular meeting, the City Council will hear and pass upon all protests that may be wade against the making of such improvements or the creation of such district. Section S. The City Clark is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication and mailing as required by lair, such publication to be made in the Kalispell, Times a Weekly newspaper published in the City of Kalispell.
