SUBJECT: Digester Gas Room Piping and Equipment Replacement — Postpone Bid Action
MEETING DATE: April 21, 2014
BACKGROUND: The Digester Gas Room Piping and Equipment Replacement Project
replaces piping, valves, low gas pressure monitoring device, condensate and sediment traps,
flame trap assemblies, pressure relief assemblies, gas meters and all equipment in the Gas
Equipment Room at the Kalispell WWTP.
Bids for the project will be opened on Thursday, April 171h, 2014. City staff requests additional time
to review the bids and references for a recommendation at the next council meeting.
ACTION REQUESTED: Postpone action for the Digester Gas Room Piping and Equipment
Replacement Project to the May 5, 2014, council meeting.
