Resolution 1578 - Emergency - Electrical Inspector?ESOLUTION No. 1578 A RESOLTTTION DECLARING TTiAT AN TT1TRGv.NCY F„ISTS AIM THAT IT IS N',^ESSARY TO iIAKE 741:C'LNDITURES FTM.1 THE PA,3E AND GENERAL FUNDS IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT PROVIDED BY THE CURRENT BUDGET FOR PARK PURPOSES AND SERVICES OF ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KI.LISPELL, MOLTANA: WHEREAS, the current budget of the City of Kalispell did not sufficiently provide for the expenditures called for under the agreement the City entered into with the Works Progress Adminis- tration of the United States to furnish material and supplies in carrying out the Woodland Park Project and the sum of $"2000.00 is necessary for such purposes in addition to the amount here- tofore authorized for such purpose: and WHEREAS, the unprecedented increase in building constructi(m has necessitated the employment of a full time electrical in- spector not anticipated when the current budget was adopted, and the sum of $350.00 is required in addition to the amount specified in the budget; and WHEREAS, there are no funds available to pay the foregoing ob- ligations of the City of Kalispell and as such obligations ex- ceed the amount provided by the last annual budget and such expenditures are necessary and unavoidable and it is mandatory that the same be paid; 3E IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that an emergency is hereby declared to exist under the provisions of the second paragraph of Section ipht, Chapter 121 of the Laws of the "Ienty-second Legislative Assembly of the h ate of Montana, and that the current budget for Park Fund be exceeded in the sum of $2000.00 and the General Fund in the sum of $350.00. 40 That emergency warrants be drawn against the funds above named • and properly chargeable with such expenditures and that the City Treasurer is authorized and directed to pay such warrants with any money in any funds available for such purpose and if there is not sufficient money available to pay such warrants then the same shall be registered, bear interest and called for payment in the manner provided for by law for other city warrants. This being an emergency resolution as set forth herein, the same shall take effect and be in full. force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval.
