RESOLUTION NO. 1532
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPTrVE64ENT LICTITINC DISTRICT
NUMBER FORTY.
• BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 1HE CITY OF KALISPM. L, MORTANA:
Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of
Kalispell to create a special improvement lighting district hereby de-
signated as Special Improvement LiahtinEF District No. 40, for the pur-
pose of lighting First Avenue east North of the City of Kalispell as
follows, to -wit: From a point opposite the lot line between lots 6
and 7 of Block 25, and Lots 13 and 14 of 3lock 24, to the point opposite
the lot line between Lots 3 and 4 of 3lock 227 and Lots 9 and 10 of
Block 226.
Section 2. That the boundaries of such proposed Special Improvement
LiPhting District are as follows:

Section 3. That the -eneral character of the improvements to be made in
said proposed special improvement lighting district is as follows: to -wit:
the procuring and erecting; of posts, wires, lamps and other suitable and
necessary appliances for the purpose of lighting those parts of the
avenues, streets and public hi_hways of the City of Kalispell herein -
before described.
Section 4. That the approximate of the cost of the improvements to be
• made is the sum of $5.45and an approximate estimate of the cost of
maintaining the lights in the proposed district and supplying electrical
current therefor for the first year is the sum of $255.60, and three
fourths of the cost shall be assessed against the property embraced
within the district abutting such Avenue.
Section 5. That on the 7th day of September, 1936, at the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, at seven thirty
o'clock P.M., a regular meeting, the City Council will hear and pass
upon all protests that may be made against the making of such im-
provements or the creation of such district.
Section 6.- The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to Give
the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication
and mailing as re4uired by law, such publication to be made in the
Kalispell Times, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Kalispell.
