At the Mansion office
Present: Rita Fitzsimmons, Gary Havens, Mark Norley, Susy Williams. Everit Sliter,
Theresa White, Tia Robbin, Gini Ogle, and Kate Daniels; Director.
The meeting was called to order at 8:20 A.M. by President Mark Norley. The minutes
from the October meeting were approved as read.
A. The mansion storage shed was broken into, and some tools, the snow blower,
and leaf blowers were taken.
B. We need to check into the citys insurance and make sure that all items in the
house are covered.
C. The mansion has been featured in several magazine articles lately. We will also
be featured in a Flathead Electric Coop magazine article.
D. Kate is working on updating our website with Anya King.
E. Everit and Kate presented a financial report and balance sheet. which were
approved as presented.
F. The Christmas Bazaar report was presented by Kate. The net profit was down
about $1800. from last year, but was still quite good. Thanks to everyone who
helped, staff and volunteers.
G. Mark Norley talked to the county museum board regarding the money that is
being held by the county from the old county museum. He and Kate will attend
a meeting this afternoon regarding this matter.
H. Rita has created a brochure on the special events for the Christmas season. She
has also been in contact with Myrtle Woldson of Spokane regarding a major
donation to the mansion, mainly to buy and maintain the Carriage House. Rita
will visit her at the end of the month. Also, Rita has spent hours researching the
Woldson family and their ties to the Conrads and Kalispell. Thank you for all
your hard work, Rita.
1. The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 to allow for a presentation by Ruth Akroyd
on fundraising.
