PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS — The Planning Board has Work Sessions scheduled for January
14th and 28th to continue working through the Growth Policy.
OTHER BUSINESS: Boot Barn — This will be on the agenda for next week. It will be located
between PetSmart and Cabela's. They may need to put in an ADA ramp in front. This will be on the
agenda for next week.
Verizon — Their Landscaping Plan came in with their submittal to Architectural Review. Discussion
was held regarding their sidewalks. They are showing the bike path along the highway, and the
sidewalk that comes down Treeline. The connection off of Treeline comes up to the front. They are
showing landscaping on the west side of the lot. The committee needs to decide if they will require
more sidewalk on the west side instead of the landscape border. LeClair noted that there is a
crosswalk and handicapped ramp nearby. Chick-Fil-A will be going in north of the Verizon building,
and will be putting in sidewalk in front of their building. This will be on the agenda when we receive
their submittal.
Montana Sky — They will be doing a co -location with Verizon on their tower that will be coming in
in February.
Ray of Hope — They are considering building a new facility across the street from their current
facility that would house women and children only. This is located at 5th Ave W and 1st St W on the
SW corner. The new building will be sprinklered. The land was donated to them.
Bloomstone - Wargo noted that they are planning to move forward with their project, as they called
Haskins earlier this week.
Annexation - LeClair met with a couple that owns 18 acres to the north of the Armory building.
They are looking for annexation and he spoke with them about doing it as an R-2 zone.
Northland, Phase 4 — They have submitted their survey to the County for review.
Aspen Group about Starling — Jentz will be meeting this afternoon with them. They want to
discuss if it's time for them to move forward with a revised or reduced Phase 1.
Mountain Vista, Phase 4 — Phil Neuharth stated that they are getting ready to proceed with Phase 4
in the north east corner by the creek. This phase would have six or seven lots.
The old Home Outfitters - Wargo stated they have acquired more property there, and are looking to
move forward with a larger development. He will be in next week to meet with Public Works. They
may need a frontage road to access the highway. LeClair mentioned that they could potentially go
down and tie in with Rose Crossing, where there is potential for a controlled intersection. They will
need to talk with DOT. There is also the sewer capacity issue.
The Meadows — On Four Mile Drive, south of Kidsports may be coming back in with a plan for
townhouses instead of their previous condominium project.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:16 a.m.
