A RESOLUTION TO DISCONTINUE AN ALLEY LOCATED IN BLOCK 25, KALISPELL
ORIGINAL TOWNSITE.
WHEREAS, on the 29th day of March, 1988, the City of Kalispell
received a petition from GKL Corporation, John A. Lence Law Firm,
Tom R. O'Neil, Jerry O'Neil, Mildred A. O'Neil and Michael A. O'Neil,
Dore Baker, and Van Kirk Nelson, owners of record of all lots along
an alley -way in Block 25, Kalispell Original Townsite, requesting
that the City of Kalispell discontinue said alley -way pursuant to
Section No. 7-14-4414, M.C.A., and
WHEREAS, notice of said petition was published in the Daily
Inter Lake on the 10th day of April, 1988, and
WHEREAS, on -the l8th day of April., 1.988, the City Council of the
City of Kalispell held a public hearing to hear proponents and oppo-
nents on the closure and to further determine any action, that would
serve the public interest, and
WHEREAS, it was determined that the petition hereinbefore men-
tioned was properly presented to the Council, and
WHEREAS, it was determined at said public hearing that the
closure of the alley -way in Block 25, Kalispell Original Townsite,
would be in the public interest.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA, THAT:
SECTION I. All that part of the City alley -way located in
Block 25, Kalispell Original Townsite, is hereby discon-
tinued as the same is no longer required for public trans-
portation and the public interest will be served by its
discontinuance.
SECTION II. The enactment of this Resolution shall not
affect nor impair the right of any public or municipal
utility to continue to maintain its plant or equipment in
said alley -way.
SECTION III. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon p�_ssage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.

KALISPELL THIS 20th DAY OF June , 1988.
