ORDINANCE NO. 311.
AN ORDINANCE to prevent the erecting or maintaining or allowing
to remain in existence any box, private apartment or screen, in
restaurants and other public eating places.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful to erect or maintain or allow
to remain in existence, in or in connection with.any restaurant or other
public eating place, either as a part or as an adjunct therett, or in
any floor or in any basement of any restaurant or other public eating
place, any box, private -apartment or screen of any kind, provided that
this section shall nor prevent the use of seperste dining rooms in
hotels nor prevent the serving of meals in the guest rooms of hotels and
boarding houses.
Section 2. Every day during which any such prohibited box,
apartment or screen is maintained or allowed to remain in existence shall
be deemed a seperate offense.
Section 3. Any person or persons. who shall violate or cause to
be violated any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon
conviction thereof, be fined in a sum not less than Twenty-five dollars
nor more than one hundred dollars.
Section 4. The provisions of all ordinances in conflict with
this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after
its passage and approval.
