motion to give a timely signal indicating the lirection in which he
intends to turn, as follows: If he intends to turn to the left, he
shall extned his arm to the left in a horizontal position for a rea-
sonable length of time; if he intends to turn to the right, he shall
extent his aro to the left with the forearm, raised_ at right angles

SECTION 124.
The permits referred to in Sections 122 and 121 may be obtr:i :cd

is desired to perform the work, the ;means of locomotion to be

of the public or other persons in any street, or cause injury to the
street or other property of the city, and if there is danger of undue
interference with the rights of the public or other persons in any

or cash bond sufficient an? conditioned to save the city harmless
from all injuries which may be occasional by reason of the Slanting
ofsuch permit, or of any act dude pursuant thereto, drovidel, the
