That erection 606 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Kalispell, Montana, passed and approved ".arch 5,1928 and as amended by Ordinance numbered 436, passed and approved July 26, 1931, be and the same is hereby amended to read as fol- lows:- Section 606. ;very peddler or person who carries goods, wares, or merchandise with him in any manner, and vends the same, or takes orders for the same, or takes orders for any merchandise, by traveling from house to house in the City, must pay a license of six hundred dollars (1600) per quarter, or fifteen dollars • (:115) per day: and every merchant who travels from place to place and is not included in the above provision and sells or vends goods, wares or ;merchandise, or by taking orders therefor in temporary quarters shall pay a license of seven hundred fifty dollars ($750) per quarter, but any person who sells or takes orders for the sale of agricultural products raised by himself, or any article manufactured by himself in the County of Flathead, State of Montana is not included within the provision of this above section. Section 2. This being an ordinance immediately necessary for the preservation of the peace, health and safety of the City of Kalispell and inhabitants thereof, it is hereby declared as ark emergency ordinance and shall become in full force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval.
