Ordinance 453 - Traffic Regulations350 1\1D Z ORDINANCE No. 453 ?C AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 333 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA) PASSED AND APPROVED MARCH 5th, 1923, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS AND AVENUES AS ARTERIAL HIGHWAYS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA: ; Section 1. Section 333 of the revised Ordinances of the City of Kalispell, Montana, passed and approved March 5th, 1928, is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 333. Right-of-way at Intersections. A vehicle shall have the right-of-way over another vehicle which is approaching from the left at street intersections, and shall give the right- of-way to a vehicle approaching from the right at street inter- sections except that vehicles traveling on the arterial highways of the City of Kalispell as hereinafter designated shall have the right-of-way over vehicles traveling on intersecting streets and avenues, and vehicles traveling on intersecting highways shall come to'a full stop before crossing arterial highways; and such arterial highways are hereby designated as follows: Main Street from the northerly line of Fifth Street south to the City limits, and from the southerly line of the Great Northern Railroad Company's right-of-way north to the City limits. All of that portion of U.S.Highway No. 93 from its inter- section with Main Street north to the City limits. First Avenue East from the northerly line of Fifth Street south to the City limits. Second Street East from the westerly line of Second Avenue east to the City limits. All of Idaho Street except its intersection with Main Street. Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect thirty days after its passage and approval. Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this 6th day of July, 1936.
