ORDINANCE No. 452
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF TRUCKS AND OTHER SIMILAR
VEHICLES ON CERTAIN STREETS AND AAENTJES OF THE. CITY OF KALISPELL.
BF IT ORDAINED BY TfIF' COTTNCIL 0m THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MU'TANA:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any driver of any buss
or track having a wheel base longer than one hundred and thirty
inches or a truck with a bed lor_�7or than eight feet in length,
or the driver of any horse drawn vehicle or sled of like dimen-
sions to park the same in the following described districts:
Main 4itreet from Railroad Street to Fourth Street;
First Avenue ls'ast from Railroad Street to Fourth Street;
First Street from 1,'irst =venue West to Second Avenue ast;
Second Street from Second Avenue West to Second Avenue 'last;
Third Street from Pirst Avenue ,,lest to Second avenue Fast;
Section 2. Any person violating the provisions of this
Ordinance shall upon conviction thereof be punished by a fine of
not less than •$1.00 or exceeding p156.00, or by imprisonment not
exceeding ninety days, or both such fine and imprisonment;
The provisions of this ordinance are iimediately necessary
for the preservation of the peace, health and safety of the in-
habitants of the City of Kalispell and is therefore an emergency
measure, and the same shall take effect and be in full force and
effect immediately upon its passage and approval.
Passed by the unanimmus vote of all the members of the City
Council at a meeting thereof held on this 13th day of April,
1936, and approved on the same date by
