AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE GEVING OF GOOD AND SUFFICIENT BONDS
TO THE, CITY OF KALISPELL BY AN`i AND ALL CONTRACTORS WHO PERFORM
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE CITY OF KALISPELL AND TO SECURE THE
FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE OF SUCH CONTRACT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Kalispell,
Montana:
Section
1. That when any contract is
entered into by the City
of Kalispell
work or make
with any other person or persons
any public improvements for
to do and perform any
the said City,such contractors
shall give a
good and sufficient bond to
be approved by the Council in
'
a sum equal
to the contract price agreed
to be paid for the faithful
performance
of said work,which said bond
shall run to the City of
Kalispell.
Section 2. That said bond shall contain a provision that said
contractor,person or persons, shall faithfully perform all of the
provisions of such contract and pay all laborers,Mechanies,subcon-
tractors and material men and all persons who shall supply such con-
tractors,corporations or persons or subcontractors with provisions,
provender,material and supplies for carrying on said work,which said
bonds shall be filed with the City Clerk and kept in his office.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. An urgency and emergency has been declared to and
does exist.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its approval.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Kalispell, S.;ontana,
this 28th.day of March ,1932. '
