Re: Confirmation of Officer Dennis Peteresen
Dear Mr. Russell,
`Striving to
Exceed
Expectations"
Officer Petersen has successfully completed the Kalispell Police Department's one year
probationary period effective January 2nd, 2014. Under Montana state law, at the end of the
probationary period and within 30 days the appointment of the officer must be submitted to the
City Council for consideration.
I respectfully request that Officer Dennis Peterson be confirmed as patrol officer for the Kalispell
Police Department.
Officer Petersen is a graduate of Flathead High School, and has most recently worked in the
retail trade prior to being hired. He served as a reserve officer with our department and during
that time we had the opportunity to evaluate him as a potential full time officer candidate. I am
pleased to say that the good work habits, positive attitude, great temperament and ethics that
were displayed during his reserve status have carried over to his employment.
Officer Petersen exemplifies the Kalispell Police Department values, mission and motto, which
is Striving to Exceed Expectations.
It is with my highest recommendation that I present Officer Peterson for confirmation.
Sincerely,
Ro Nasset
Chief of Police
ROGER NASSET, CHIEF OF POLICE
