AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 330 of the REVISED ORDINANCES OF 1947
OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL$ MONTANA, PERTAINING TO PARKING WITHIN FIRE
LIMITS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 330 of the Revised Ordinances of
1947 of the City of Kalispell, Uontana, be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Section 330. Parking within Fire Limits. No motor vehicle
.shall be parked continuously at any one place for more than two
hours between eight (8:00) a.m. and six (6:00) p.m. upon Main Street
from Idaho Street to Fourth Street; on First Avenue East from Railroad
Street to Fourth Street; on First and Second and Third Streets from
the alley between First and Second Avenues East to First Avenue Nest.
Mo motor vehicle shall be parked continuously at any one place for
more than two hours between twelve midnight and Six 45s00) A.M. upon
Main Street from Idaho Street to Fourth Street; upon First Avenue
East from Railroad Street to Fourth Street: upon First Avenue West
from Railroad Street to Fourth Street: upon First Street from the
alley between First and Second Avenues East to irst Avenue West:
upon Second and Third Streets from Second Avenue East to Second
Avenue West, and if any motor vehicle shall be parked continuously
at any one place in said district for more than two hours between
twelve midnight and Six (6s00) o'clock A.M. and police officer may
cause the same to be removed and certify the cost of such removal
to the police judge who shall add the amount thereof to any fine
assessed against the owner or operator of such vehicle for the vio-
lation of such parking regulation. On all streets and avenues of the
City of Kalispell no motor vehicle shall be parked continously at
any one place for a longer time than ten hours. Whenever the space
occupied by a parked motor vehicle is necessary for loading or un-
loading some commodity, the driver of such vehicle shall move away
from such space upon request of a police officer; and if the owner
or -driver be not present the police officer may cause such vehicle
to be removed."
Emergency amendment is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
Passed by the City council of the City of Kalispell and approved
by the Mayor this 5th day of October, 1949.
