ORDINANCE NO. 519
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 112 OF ORDINANCE NO. 509 OF THE CITY
OF KALISPELL, DEFINING THE CONGESTED AREA FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFIC
REGULATION BY ORDINANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
Section 1. That Section 2 Ordinance No. 509 of the City -of Kalispell
e aid the same hereby is amended to read as follows:
Section 2. Congested Area: For the purposes of this ordinance
the "congested traffic area" is hereby declared to be on Main
Street, on 1st. Ave. East, and on 1st. Avenue West, each from the
South side of Railroad Street to the north side of 4th. Street,
and do 1st. Street from the east side of lst. Avenue West to the
west s ide of the alley between 1st. and 2nd. Avenues East, and on
2nd. Street from tie east side of 2nd. Avenue West to the west side
of the alley between 1st. and 2nd, Avenue ZQst,t9nd:,0n;3rd.11treef

between 1st. and 2nd. Avenues east and on 4th. Street on the north
side thereof from the east side of 1st. Avenue West to the west
side of Main Street; and the City Council hereby determines and it
is hereby provided that because of the flow of traffic on the
streets or portion of streets, within such area that parking there-
in shall be subject to the provisions of this ordinance."
Section 2. An emergency is hereby declared to exist and the immed-
iate passage and the effectiveness of this ordinance is hereby de-
clared necessary for the peace, health and safety of the City of
Kalispell and this ordinance shall be and remain in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
Passed and approved by the City Council of the City of Kalispell
and Approved by its Mayor this 24th. day of July, 1947. '
