ORDINANCE NO.535
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION k$l OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF KALISPELL: DEFINING THE OFFENSES OF HISTURBANCE OF THE PEACE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
Section 1. That Section 633 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of
Kalispell be and the same hereby is amended to read as follows:
Section 633. Disturbance of the Peace. Every person who within
the limits of the City of Kalispell wilfully or maliciously or inten-
tionally or unneeessarily disturbs the peace of any neighborhood or
person by loud or unusual noise, or by tumultuous or offensive con-
duct, or threatening, traducing, quarreling, challenging to fight, or
fighting, or who fires any gun or pistol, or uses any vulgar or pro-
fane, or indecent, or obscene language within the presence or hearing
of any women or children, or who commits an assault or battery, or by
any other means whatever disturbs the peace of any neighborhood or
person within the limits of the city shall be gulty of the offense of
disturbance of the peace. Any person convicted of the violation of
any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be punished by fine
not to exceed $300.00 or by imprisonment not to exceed ninety days,
or by both such fine and imprisonment.
Section 2. An emergency is hereby declared and the immediate
passage of this ordinance is hereby declared to be necessary for the
peace, health and safety of the City of Kalispell, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
