Ordinance 485 - Traffic Regulations419 ORDINANCE No. 485 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE No.484, PASSED AND APPROVED JUNE 3, 1940, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS AND AVENUES AS ARTERIAL HIGHWAYS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA: Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No.484, passed and approved June 3rd, 1940, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: ' Section 333. Right-of-way at Intersections. A vehicle shall have the right-of-way over another vehicle which is approaching from the left at street intersections and shall give the right-of-way to a vehicle approaching from the right at street intersections except that vehicles traveling on intersecting streets and avenues and vehicles traveling on intersecting highways shall come to a full stop before crossing arterial highways; and such arterial highways are hereby designated as follows: MAIN STREET from the northerly line of Fifth Street South to the City limits, and from the southerly line of the Great Northern Railroad Company's right-of-way north to the City limits. All of that portion of T1.S.Highway No.93 from its intersection with Main Street north to the City limits. First Avenue East from the northerly line of Fifth Street south to the city limits. All of Idaho Street, being part of T1.S.Highway No.2, except its intersection with Main Street. All of .SECOND STREET except its intersection with Main Street and First Avenue East. ' SEVENTH STREET .WEST from Idain Street to the City limits. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect thirty days after its passage and approval.
