PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: LeClair noted that a letter has been sent to Wayne
Turner and to his banker, requesting a new Letter of Credit for improvements not yet completed at
Ashley Heights. The old Letter of Credit expires December 31st of this year.
OLD BUSINESS: Spring Prairie, Phase 3 - We are getting closer to getting permits issued for
Sportsman, The Shops and MacKenzie River Pizza.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS — The Planning Board Agenda for next Tuesday will include the
Owl Corporation's revised proposed zone change and then continue discussion of the growth policy.
OTHER BUSINESS: Spring Prairie, Phase 3 — Before Christmas, we should be getting the larger
pads that are in the back.
Costco — They are interested in doing a 1,400-1,500 sq. ft. addition for another walk-in cooler at their
location. This will be coming in shortly after the 1 st of the year. They would end up restriping a lot of
their parking spots, taking them from 10 ft. down to 9 ft., so they can still meet their required parking
numbers under their CC & Rs. They may decide to do this addition as an interior remodel.
County Attorney — They are moving out of the Justice Center into one of the older buildings and
will be doing a remodel.
Silverbrook - F & H Land Surveying has requested, on behalf of Howard Mann, an extension of
Phase 2 Preliminary Plat for the northern half of Silverbrook. This was originally approved back in
2009, and was good until 2012. They received an extension in 2012 that will expire in March of
2014. They are requesting another two-year extension, which would bring it out to 2016. There are
196 single-family lots, 90 townhouse lots, and 13 commercial lots if it were fully developed. Sewer
capacity currently cannot serve this if they came in for their final at this time. The west side
interceptor would help with this situation.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:13 a.m.
