Attendance: Chairman Hopkins, Vice Chairman Gunnerson, Councilwoman Hafferman,
Councilman Schindler.
Others Present: DPW Hammer, Street Superintendent Brady, Acting Water Superintendent

BUS DEPOT - Parking Request C. Hopkins explained the bus depot owner is in the process
of relocating the depot and is requesting the City for .three parking spaces for bus
parking on 3rd St. W.
After brief discussion of the impact of losing three parking spaces and the impact
on the adjacent property owners the Committee decided not to allow the three spaces
for bus parking.
C. Schindler stated if the owner of the bus depot wants to address the Committee, the
adjacent propeorty owners should be invited to attend.
DPW Hammer is to inform the owner of the Committee's decision.
STREET RECONSTRUCTION Street Supt. Brady presented the Committee with a rough draft
of a Reconstruction/Maintenance Program for 1989. He stated the priorities will be
determined after the bids are received for the Southwest Kalispell project and the
Council makes their decision for utilization of City forces on this project.
C. Gunnerson stated he believes the Council should respond to a petition presented
to the Council for South Meridian reconstruction.
The Committee discussed various ways to repair/reconstruct South Meridian from Center
St. to Foys bridge.
The Committee decided to take the Reconstruction/Maintenance Program under advisement
and offer further direction after the hid opening at the Council meeting of March 20,
1989.
