Ordinance 667 - Salary OrdinancerM ORDINANCE NO. 667 AN ORDINANCE FIXING WITHIN LIMITS THE ANNUAL SALARY AND COMPENSATION OF THE FOLLOWING CITY OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES NUMBER 598, 602, 603, 615, 623, 636, 645, 656, and 660, AND ALL OTHER ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH: Ordinance No. 667 is on file in the Office of the City Clerk. ORDINANCE NO. 668 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 50 OF ARTICLE VII OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF 1947 OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, AS AMENDED, PROVIDING RESIDENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS OF POLICE OFFICERS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL: SECTION 1. That Section 50, of Article VII of the Revised Ordinances of 1947, of the City of Kalispell, Montana, be amended to read as follows: Section 50, Article VII, Residential Qualifications of Police Officers: Every Police officer must be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the City of Kalispell; and must have resided in the State of Montana at least two years and in the City of Kalispell at least six months, prior to his appointment to the City Police Force. The above provision, requiring residence in the City, shall not apply to present members of the police force, who now reside outside of the City. SECTION 2. All ordinances, or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, THIS 1st DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1960.
